quotes http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/6514628/ hey all good bro, i'm not here to start a pissing contest with anyone...i'm just tired of reading comments of kids bashing everyone. they want to be able to learn tricks just by watching a video rather than going out and really working at it! this sh*t takes time to learn! i was genuinely trying to give a better explanation because you're right, Semenuk's how-to isn't very informative...but while we're at it here's a photo of one of mine.

quotes watch these BMX vids to learn: http://www.google.com/#q=how+to+tabletop+BMX&hl=en&prmd=ivns&source=lnms&tbm=vid&ei=sxy4TbqoEMuDtgfnu-TeBA&sa=X&oi=mode_link&ct=mode&cd=3&sqi=2&ved=0CA4Q_AUoAg&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=cca65d00ac6ff6dd I can tell you that this is a trick that can take YEARS to master even though it looks easy, and even then you can still work on getting them better. Doing them on a hip will make it 1000 times easier. It doesn't matter which foot is forward on the pedals. 1) LOOSEN your grip on the bars going into the trick. Some people roll there hand under the grip, but if you just stay LOOSE on the bike it will be much easier because your feet will move around on the pedals a little bit. 2) Push your fist through your armpit while at the same time throwing your leg into/over the toptube. If you are jumping a hip, especially one that is 30-45 degrees the bike wants to lay flat naturally...all you gotta do is turn the bars towards the sky and put your knee over the toptube. Once you know how it feels you can do them on straight jumps, but they feel different. You have to focus a lot more on just using your arms and legs, rather than twisting your hips. Hope this helps!

quotes agreed 100% with billy-bike-club! progression will happen no matter what - people are ALWAYS pushing harder but for most riders its about FUN...and thats how it should be!

Man I obviously know what a unturndown is, and that, most definitely is NOT one. An unturndown is when the bars are in the same position as a turndown but turned the other way around. All these "unturndowns" are is a straight legged flatty. I obviously know what a table is, I dont even have to explain myself on that. You surprise me, a 28 year old mountain bike rider trying to consolidate what tricks are and telling me that I dont know what a table is.... bahhahah man
